Busiest Day of Oyster Deliveries Yet

Jeff, Stephen, and I were out oystering yesterday afternoon to fill the rest of our orders for New Year’s Eve.  Apparently everyone in the Charleston area is ringing in the new year with an oyster roast.  We didn’t get back to the boat landing until after dark (wet up to our waists), and we just barely got enough bushels to fill our orders.  Jeff is out delivering now to people’s oyster roasts in McClellanville, Awendaw, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, Downtown Charleston, North Charleston, Goose Creek, and Summerville; basically almost every place we deliver to.  We found some beautiful oysters, so everyone should be in good shape for the new year.

We’re planning on going back out on Friday morning as the tides are back around to before sunrise.  If anyone is having a roast over the weekend and needs some fresh Bull’s Bay Oysters delivered, give me a call now as our phones are ringing off the hook for weekend deliveries.
